The Snapper Rocks are a rocky outcrop and a very famous surfing spot. Interestingly, because sand is artificially moved from the Tweed River river mouth to the Snapper Rocks, it created 2007 the “Superbank” which now provides one of the longest and fastest point brake waves in the world.

PICKING TIP

Enjoy your surf or just watch the surfers riding the waves. You can also stay just at the beach or visit the local restaurants and cafes.
