Authentic warung located within the rice fields of Ubud
During our 6 weeks stay in Ubud we have been to many warungs and Ubud Shanti Warung was definitely in our top 5 list. The highlight is the beautiful location of this restaurant - directly in the rice fields.
The Shanti Warung features a relaxed ambiance and authentic Indonesian cuisine. You can enjoy the lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere while eating your delicious nasi campur or nasi goreng.
The menu predominantly features traditional Indonesian dishes prepared with local ingredients and flavors. For example, nasi campur, nasi goreng (fried rice), mie goreng (fried noodles), refreshing salads, satay, and flavorful curries.

A warung is a small, Indonesian eatery or food stall which are are an integral part of Indonesian culinary culture. They offer a wide range of authentic dishes at affordable prices. When traveling to Indonesia we highly recommend to visit a local warung at least once.
Picking tip:
- This warung is located in a calm & charming area in the North of Ubud. It also offers some shops, other restaurants and amazing views of the lush green landscape of Ubud. We would recommend to spend some hours in this area if you want to enjoy the quieter Ubud.
