New Zealand, South Island
2-4 hours

Are you ready to jump out of a plane and experience the ultimate adrenaline rush through your body?

If yes, this tandem-skydiving activity has to be on top of your New Zealand bucket list. We can highly recommend this reputable company as safety is their highest priority and their experienced instructors make sure that you will have one of your best (or maybe even the best) day of your life! On a clear sunny day you will be able to see North and South Island from above while falling from the sky which makes Abel Tasman National Park one of the best sky diving spots in New Zealand.

Which altitude should you choose?

  • Do the 16,500ft (5km) option with a free fall lasting up to 70 seconds and speeds of 200km/h!
  • With this option you will have to wear an oxygen mask to lessen the effect of low oxygen levels in your body while reaching high altitudes during a 15-20min scenic flight.

7  Pro tips for first-time sky divers:

  • Be flexible with timing due to weather conditions
  • Eat a light meal before (We made the mistake and had huge burgers)
  • Pay close attention at the briefing and trust your instructor
  • Arch like a banana when jumping off the plane until your instructor gives you a sign to stop
  • Expect to tumble a bit after jumping but your instructor knows how to handle this
  • Enjoy the moment and embrace the thrill
  • Lift your legs before landing again
