Popular Australian zoo of the crocodile hunter Steve Irwin
The Australia Zoo is a 700-acre large zoo featuring wildlife from all over the world. The park itself is very well-maintained and features a beautiful landscape. It is the zoo of the famous Australian Steve Irwin who passed away in 2006. Nowadays, his wife and children are operating the zoo.
The highlights of the zoo are the crocodile show at 1pm in the large stadium (Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors Show), Robert’s reptile house, the tiger show, the elephant show and the Koala walk-through where you can carefully touch a Koala.
